While the whole world suffers from a global drama, I photograph self-portraits using the collage-assemblage technique in order to recreate my inner experiences and release images outside. Each frame is one of a kind, and it cannot be repeated or copied. With the help of this technique, I give the viewer the very uniqueness that each of us has - a unique personality. Finding your true self is the biggest challenge in life. The opposite leads to the collapse of the spirit and the decay of the vital forces. The photographs I take or create are part of the story of my vision and inner feelings. Hope, deception, beauty and change are within all of us. Reflecting during the creation of the image, I embody myself in the fusion of photography with the objects of the surrounding world.
My images are relics of the past: art-house films on TV at 1 am, underground music of the 1990s, parties in rock clubs, books, outsiders, and philosophical reflections on life. Why am I taking pictures? This is a way of interacting with the viewer, delight, the embodiment of an idea from the head into real life. I like experiments in photography, combining the concept of art with a portrait. Why self-portrait? I study the depth of my inner world. For me, a self-portrait is accepting yourself as you are, searching for the bottom, analysing, and reflecting about yourself.
