In her debut photobook, Nathalie Rubens offers a photographic meditation on the liminality of ageing—juxtaposing two very different yet intricately connected »comings of age«: the transition into young adulthood and the passage into post-menopausal life. Rubens turns the camera both on herself and her daughter Ruby—creating a visual enquiry into change, self-discovery, and the cycles of life.
