  • For its 5th edition, the Festival du Regard is developing and investing a new space. After the EDF Tower last year, it is another emblematic place of Cergy-Pontoise which welcomes us, the old Post Office building with its typical architecture of the 70s. On a surface of more than 1500 square meters, sixteen exhibitions will interact with the five outdoor exhibitions proposed in the François Mitterrand Park and the Maison des Arts. Located in Cergy Grand Centre, this unusual space inspired this year's theme: "Extraordinary journeys".
  • What is left of the spirit of the great traveling photographers who made us discover the world, in its beauty as well as in its violence, at a time when everything is seen, filmed, broadcasted, commented in real time? This will be the guiding thread of our programming with the desire to surprise and amaze you. And to give back to travel photography its letters of nobility. Indeed, today travel photography is facing two pitfalls. On the one hand, some people believe (wrongly) that everything is seen and seen again, as if the eyes of authors and artists did not push us each time to rediscover differently what we think we know via Google's declinations: Earth, Maps or StreetView. On the other hand, travel is often confused with tourism and the search for the picturesque, the croquignolet, the cliché...
