Organized by Shannon Ghannam and Amber Terranova of Magnum Photos, How Stories Choose Us is a two-part seminar focusing on the ways narratives arise within a photographic practice, and how to identify those narratives and develop them into compelling projects. Ghannam will use examples of projects from Magnum photographers and other leading practitioners, followed by Terranova in conversation with Lindokuhle Sobekwa, Magnum photographer and FotoFest Biennial 2020 exhibiting artist.
