World Press Photo 2026 in London

The globally renowned World Press Photo Exhibition returns to London on Friday 21st August, engaging audiences at the new MPB Gallery a few minutes away from London Bridge Station on Bermondsey Street, SE1 3UD.The exhibition is the world’s most prestigious showcase of photojournalism and documentary photography and is the widest-ranging annual photo exhibition worldwide.

The World Press Photo Contest recognises and celebrates the best visual journalism produced over the past year, with the winning images forming a powerful global touring exhibition. In 2025, the exhibition reached over 4 million visitors across more than 80 cities. Kira Pollack, World Press Photo 2026 Contest global jury chair, said: "At a time when truth feels increasingly fragile and contested, visual journalism stands as one of our most powerful tools for bearing witness and creating understanding.
