Altered Climate

Altered Climate is an international online exhibition presented by Artdoc Magazine, exploring the environmental realities of a warming planet and the ways they are experienced, witnessed, and interpreted through photography. Rising temperatures are reshaping landscapes, ecosystems, communities, and our relationship with the natural world. Forest fires, drought, extreme weather, and damaged habitats reveal the growing impact of climate change. The exhibition brings together art photographers responding to ecological disruption, environmental loss, and the changing conditions of life on Earth. Through altered images, abstraction, experimental practices, and documentary photography, the exhibited works explore both visible transformations and personal experiences of environmental change. Colour, distortion, fragmentation, and photographic intervention convey the physical and psychological effects of a changing climate. Bringing together direct observation and subjective interpretation, Altered Climate offers a visual account of environmental transformation and its consequences for landscapes, communities, ecosystems, and human experience.
