About this call

Being Human

Being Human is an open call exploring cultural equality through documentary photography.

Being Human invites photographers to examine how human presence manifests in diverse cultural contexts. The focus is on everyday situations where identity is formed and expressed. Within cultural differences, human behaviour reveals points of commonality.

We are looking for work showing how daily life unfolds in distinct environments while maintaining familiar patterns. This open call seeks images that depict human conditions with empathy and attention. The aim is to demonstrate how equality can be discovered through lived experience.

We invite you to submit photographs that engage with cultural identity, social frameworks, or personal environments.

We welcome both portraits and images that explore the environmental spaces people inhabit.
