This photographic series is inspired by the strong link between photography and poetry.
I took these pictures while I was travelling to Rome and Berlin during the post-pandemic time in the summer of 2020.
The Fens is an area of reclaimed marshland in the East of England occupying nearly 3,900km² artificially drained over centuries to provide some of Britain’s most fertile agricultural land.
My art is emerging from the need to reconnect with the beautiful nature that surrounds us. As a human, I enjoy the wonders of discovery and constant advancement that define us as species, but I am also sad that we overlook the wonders that are so close. The desire to overcome this condition pushed me in my own exploration, and I am happy to go further on that path day after day. I am also interested in motion, people, and storytelling which are all the important subjects I pursue when inspired.
This is a photographic story about how the pandemic, covid-19, quickly changed the daily lives of two elderly, particularly one with a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's.
“If I am like this for two weeks a month, is that who I am?” This particular sentence immediately captured my attention. I was browsing through a Google search for severe premenstrual syndrome and had just come across a condition called PMDD (Premenstrual-Dysphoric-Disorder).
