Siyi Tang's work focuses on feminism, self-exploration of identity, and the clash and intersection of Asian cultures in Western society. Her work is mainly based on photography. She was born in China and received her MFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. In her work, she powerfully demonstrates her power as a new generation of Asian women, impacting the viewers' stereotypical perceptions of women, especially Asian women. In her work, she also investigates her loneliness, longing, and contradictions as an Asian woman in a foreign land. Her works have been exhibited in several cities and countries.
