Origin is a photographic project in which I explore the themes of time, space, and existence. Through my images, I create a world that feels both familiar and unreal — a place where one is alone yet, at the same time, safe in existence. The vastness of the sea has always held a special magic for me, as has the idea of being on Earth without the presence of other people. My photographs are an expression of this fascination.

René Greiner is a fine-art photographer from Bad Kissingen, Bavaria, Germany. Photography has been part of his life for over 25 years, representing for him both artistic expression and ultimate freedom. His work has received awards in national and international competitions and has been exhibited in various solo and group shows.
