Today, I share with you my new series of Hong Kong, which I captured a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic.
With my series 1STREET, I captured the charm of iconic streets of the big cities by night. I try to depict atmospheres and fleeting feelings of these big cities with elements such as people, weather and dramatic street lighting. The atmospheres form the soul of a town by mingling with architecture and climate - a true celebration of the diversity of urban life. In the past, I visited cities like Paris, Barcelona, Tel Aviv & Brussels. Here I show my new series of Hong Kong, which I captured a few months before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bio
Manu Grinspan is a Belgian artist living in Israel for twenty years. Photorealistic drawing marked the beginning of his career as a visual artist. Over the last fourteen years, photography has become his preferred medium. His love for nature will lead him to outdoor photography, where light takes a fully-fledged place. Thanks to his unique way of treating the landscape, he was awarded in 2015 with the title of Official Photographer of Parks and Nature Reserves of Israel.
Nowadays, Manu Grinspan pursues his photographic work in which, alongside natural landscapes, we may see more and more night atmospheres captured in urban spaces. Through his images, the artist changes our perspective on everyday environments, suddenly transformed into objects of contemplation by the play of light and colour.
