Past, Passing, or to Come explores the concept of time. I capture images through the windows of closed stores and buildings that are in transition. Looking through the glass, I see remnants of the past: empty shelves, worn floors, and residual marks. Simultaneously, the same pane reflects the present: passing cars, occupied structures, and shifting light.

These layers exist together. The past is inside. The present is reflected on the surface. In the space between them, there's a sense of what might come next. The future isn't explicitly presented, but it is suggested. Light and shape hold everything together. Lines from the street pass through a room. Shadows overlap. Space flattens. What begins as a real place becomes something else.

These photographs aren't simply about empty buildings. They're about time: about the lives that once filled these spaces, what is there now, and what may follow.
